I have been making jewelry for the past eight years.  I realized that I have a passion for the stones and their incredible beauty.  I only work with and have an interest in “real” or semi-precious stones and metals.  I never include man-made materials in my pieces—everything I use comes from the earth.  In the beginning I used to delight in just making pieces for their beauty, however it has grown beyond that for me now.  

As I have studied stones and their properties I don’t look to create a piece of jewelry just for adornment anymore.  For me it has to have meaning, and as I have worked with my clients I can tell that this is true with them as well.  I want each piece I make to become a “favorite” and I want the wearer to know why.  Usually if they know just a little bit about the background of a stone, they know why they are so drawn to it.  Everyone has this innate sense.  My pieces are meant to be worn everyday—dressed up or dressed down.  They are meant to inspire and ground—and of course, add beauty.
